Barbara Adamska among the finalists of the Energy for Women 2022 competition

Women’s Energy is a unique initiative of the Lower Silesian Institute for Energy Studies (DISE) in partnership with Microsoft. 


Honouring women working in the power industry, recognising the strength of the female voices is the beginning of breaking down barriers in this male dominated industry. It is a step towards a stronger female presence in the discussion about the future of the power industry.
Among the finalists are 14 women, including PESA President and ADM Poland CEO Barbara Adamska.
The winner of the Women’s Energy Award will be selected by the Competition Jury, consisting of:
– Dominika Bettman, General Manager of Microsoft in Poland,
– Beata Włodarska, Executive Director of DISE ENERGY,
– Lidia Król, director, Department of Geology and Licensing, Ministry of Climate and Environment,
– Kasia Sobótka-Demianowska, E-mobility Director Claritas Investments,
– Katarzyna Szwed-Lipińska, Director of the Department of Renewable Sources at the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO)
– Olga Malinkiewicz, PhD, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Saule Technologies,
– Professor Waldemar Skomudek, Ph.D. Eng., Opole University of Technology,
– Wojciech Jakóbik, Editor-in-Chief of the BiznesAlert.pl portal.
The finalists are also running for the Women’s Energy Audience Award.
