Faculty of Civil Engineering and Resource Management at AGH University of Krakow is the oldest faculty of the university, established in 1919 when Józef Piłsudski officially announced the opening of the Academy of Mining. For over a century, it has remained one of the leading research and educational centers in Poland and worldwide, educating highly specialized engineers and conducting research of industrial and social importance. Today, its profile covers civil engineering, resource management, land rehabilitation, as well as critical raw materials and energy transition. Within the faculty operates the research team Economics and Management of Raw Materials and Energy Transition, addressing key challenges of resource security and the development of modern energy systems.
