The next edition of the Distributed Energy Forum will take place on Monday, the 9th of May, at the Studio Club on the grounds of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.
The debate during the 4th Forum will focus on the most crucial aspects of the local dimensions of energy transition in Poland and the place of the distributed generation, particularly the local power initiatives, in the strategic and programme documents. The Forum will include a presentation of the assumptions for the draft Strategy for the Development of Distributed Energy in Poland and their discussion among key stakeholders. Distinguished guests of the Forum will notably include Ireneusz Zyska – Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment, Government Plenipotentiary for Renewable Energy Sources – who will explain the role of distributed generation in the Polish energy transition.
The speakers and participants in the debates of the 4th Forum will include both the politicians responsible for the energy transition and the leaders of local energy initiatives, entrepreneurs, representatives of chambers of commerce, power companies, scientific communities as well as central and local government administration.

The 4th Distributed Energy Forum is organised by the members of the MENAG consortium delivering the “Development of distributed energy in energy clusters (KlastER)” project – the AGH University of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, and the National Centre for Nuclear Research. The event’s partner is the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. The KlastER project is implemented on the basis of a contract with the National Centre for Research and Development, as part of the GOSPOSTRATEG research and development strategic programme. The project’s goals include the elaboration of a strategy for the development of energy clusters in Poland, the establishment of a Competence Network on Distributed Energy Systems to provide a broad platform for the collaboration of all the stakeholders, development and implementation of solutions supporting the management of energy clusters as well as a popularisation and educational activities.
