The inaugural edition of the Energy Storage Summit Central Eastern Europe was a resounding success, and we are thrilled to share the highlights of this extraordinary event with you.

At the end of September, the Polish Energy Storage Association had the honour of being the Host Partner for this groundbreaking summit, held at the prestigious Warsaw Hilton Hotel. Over the course of two days, we had the privilege of welcoming 250 representatives from the energy industry across our region.

During this event, participants engaged in dynamic panel discussions and were inspired by speeches from some of the most esteemed energy storage experts.

Both days began with welcoming addresses by our President, Barbara Adamska. In her special address, “A Snapshot of Energy Storage in Poland,” Barbara outlined the legal framework, the current state of development, and the vast potential of the Polish energy storage market. The enthusiasm and active participation from the audience underscored the genuine interest our market holds for foreign entities.

We are pleased to note that representatives of PESA member companies actively participated in the event. Notably, Piotr Czembor, CEO of Hynfra Energy Storage, a Gold member of PESA, was a speaker during the session “The Urgency of Implementing Storage to Support Renewables Expansion.”

The panel discussion centred around the challenges, legal aspects, and best practices within the energy storage sector.
