“The cooperation with the Power Engineering Academic Study Group of the Warsaw University of Technology, an organization that instils the passion for power engineering into the students of the Warsaw University of Technology and fosters it, leading them to ultimately join the ranks of RES experts, is an important step for us,” said Barbara Adamska, the President of PESA. “Getting the future engineers interested in energy storage, without which the energy transformation simply will not happen, is fully in line with our approach to the development of this area of the power industry and fulfils the educational mission of our Association. We are already several months into fruitful cooperation with the Group – the signing of the agreement is an important formalisation of this,” added Barbara Adamska.
The Polish Energy Storage Association works for the development of the industry and energy transformation. It participates in legislative work, shaping non-legislative activities and conducts educational and information activities.
The Power Engineering Academic Study Group of the Warsaw University of Technology brings together the fans of the entire power sector and modern technologies and organises a series of meetings with experts and the annual Conference of Young Power Engineers.
The agreement signed by the PESA and the Power Engineering Academic Study Group is proof that cooperation between the NGOs and student organisations is a step towards a quicker and more effective energy transformation.
The Polish Energy Storage Association was represented by Barbara Adamska, its President, and the agreement signatory for the Power Engineering Academic Study Group of the Warsaw University of Technology was President Małgorzata Dembowska.
