✍ On the 16th of December 2021, the “Memorandum of Cooperation on the Development of the Photovoltaics Sector” was signed in Warsaw, Poland. This agreement was concluded by and between the representatives of the ➣ central government administration represented by Ireneusz Zyska – Government Plenipotentiary for Renewable Energy Sources, ➣ the representatives of investors, representatives of entities being directly part of the supply chain for the photovoltaics sector,
➣ representatives of the organisations working for the development of the photovoltaics sector, ➣ representatives of the financial and insurance companies, ➣ representatives of the school and academic education and scientific system establishments and other entities with statutory duties including educational, scientific and research activities as well as entities providing trainings and certification.
The parties declare their will to cooperate to ensure a sustainable development of the PV sector in Poland, supporting the maximisation of growth of the Polish photovoltaic equipment industry and the promotion of export of goods and services by the entrepreneurs being part of the local supply chain.
The parties consider as the key areas for the development of the PV sector:
● The development of the Polish photovoltaic equipment industry (the Polish local content)
● development of new solar power segments and integration of PV with the power grid
● Identification of obstacles to the growth of the PV
● Educational and promotional activities concerning the growth of the photovoltaics sector
The signatories include the Polish Energy Storage Association. “We are glad that the representatives of diverse communities, representing various points of view, with different competencies and skills, wish to collaborate towards the development of the photovoltaics sector. The Polish Energy Storage Association, being an organisation that values the environmental synergy has joined the Memorandum with a conviction that only joint action may contribute towards the transformation of the sector” – said Barbara Adamska, the CEO of the Polish Energy Storage Association.
