The STB Innovation Centre has become a Supporting Member of the Polish Energy Storage Association.

The STB Innovation Centre has been in business for more than 10 years, and since 2014 has been carrying out regular R&D activities. It is based in Tczew within the Special Economic Zone. The work it carries out has resulted in the award of the status of Class A scientific unit and a research and development centre.

The main focus of the research activities is eco-innovation. The work and research carried out by the research team concerns, in particular, industrial research and development work in the design of innovative solutions in areas such as power engineering (including renewable energy sources), environmental protection, the agro-food industry, new technologies and technological and engineering solutions.

As part of its activities, the STB Innovation Centre supports the renewable energy production industry, including hydroelectric, wind and biogas plants. In the longer term, they see this industry developing further into energy storage.

The R&D work carried out by the STB Innovation Centre supports the business sector and the growth of innovation of Polish SMEs through the development of technical and technology solutions serving entrepreneurs in many sectors, situated all over Poland. It has its own team of experts and researchers and the support of an extensive network of scientific and research establishments in Poland.
